Board of Directors
TMCA’s Board of Directors is a governing board responsible for the oversight of the implementation, operation, regulations and execution of all programming including the development of agreements. The Boards authority is created through an Intergovernmental Agreement between Franklin and Fulton County. The Board of Directors is composed of three (3) Franklin County Commissioners and two (2) Fulton County Commissioners. The Board meets on the third Tuesday of every third month. Special Meetings of the Board of Directors occur on an as needed basis. All meetings are open to the public. All Board meeting agendas, meeting times and location are posted on TMCA’s website 24 hours prior to each meeting. Additionally, agendas are posted at TMCA’s main office location as well as the meeting location 24 hours prior to each meeting. The public are requested to RSVP attendance at TMCA’s Board meetings by contacting TMCA.

Steering Committee
TMCA’s Steering Committee serves as an advisory committee to TMCA’s Board of Directors charged with overseeing the implementation, operation, regulations and execution of all programming including the development of agreements. The committee membership is through appointment by either Franklin or Fulton County Board of Commissioners. The committee is composed of seven (7) representatives from Franklin County and four (4) from Fulton County. Within the composition, two individuals on the committee must be either a consumer of Medicaid behavioral health services or be a family member of a child/adolescent receiving services. The Committee meets on the second Monday of every month up to eleven (11) meetings per year. Meetings of the Steering Committee are open to the public. View Events. Quality Improvement/Utilization Management Subcommittee (QIUM):
TMCA and Performcare jointly share a Quality Improvement/Utilization Management Subcommittee that aims to enhance patient care by ensuring the appropriate use of healthcare resources while continuously monitoring and evaluating the quality and safety of the services provided. The Subcommittee consists of County representation, network service providers, TMCA, Performcare, and community representation which includes individuals and family members that have received behavioral health services paid for by PerformCare. This committee is by invitation only due to the confidential nature of information discussed. Committee members sign a confidentiality statement prior to participation in the subcommittee. The QI UM Subcommittee meets on the second Wednesday every three (3) months. Individuals interested in serving on this committee can contact TMCA at (866)646-1060 or contact TMCA.
Stakeholders Subcommittee
TMCA hosts a public forum for individuals and organizations that are impacted by Behavioral HealthChoices to receive education and provide feedback related to experiences with the program. This committee is open to the public, welcoming consumers and family members of individuals receiving Behavioral HealthChoices services and network providers. The Subcommittee is facilitated by TMCA and Performcare. Meetings occur on the third Tuesday of every third month.
